1. Korelee “If there is BTS in K-pop, there is Korelee among Korean restaurants!”
Although it has been less than two years since its opening, it has already become one of the most popular restaurants in Ankara. As if bragging about its popularity, the restaurant is always crowded with many customers. If you got unlucky and go at the wrong time, you’ll have to wait in line forever!! So please be careful with the timing and don’t go too hungry. Oh, also, we'd particularly like to recommend Korelee to Bilkent students since it's less than a minute away from Tunus, the last stop of the Bilkent ring! However, we’ll assure you, Korelee is an attractive restaurant for all, not only for Bilkent students. Chicken is one of the most popular and beloved menus, and Korelee offers as many as seven chicken menus for people with different tastes. Each type has a different taste and spicy degree, making it enjoyable to almost everyone! Designed with neon signs, various Korean photo zones are suitable for leaving unique memories with friends and family as they make you feel like you are in Korea.

2. Sopung “The best picnic place in Ankara”
Sopung is the only franchise Korean restaurant in Ankara. Rather than focusing on the exotic interior and atmosphere, this restaurant is faithful to its essence as a restaurant where you can feel the taste and comfort. There are various component that make Sopung restaurants feel comfortable. The first is the pleasant structural convenience comming from it’s size. Basically, Sopung has a larger space than any other Korean restaurants, so there are plenty of gaps in between each table, giving it a more of a personal spaces. The next component is it’s ordering system. There is a order bell that allows you to call waiters without having you to raise your hand or trying to make an eye contact too get a attention from them. As a restaurant faithful to its essence, the food was really delicious, and especially the quality of gimbap was so great that we thought it was brought it directly from Korea. We hightly recommend Sopung if you are looking for the restaurant with great qulity of foods and comfortable space to spend a relaxing time with your friends or families.

3. Mogo "The rising star of Korean Restaurant"
Mogo is the most recent, a brand new restaurant opened in Kentpark AVM! Speaking of Mogo, it is a restaurant with a very trendy interior and various culture-related props that remind us of Korea. This restaurant also features a harmonious arrangement of the old Korean restaurant's interior and modern Western-style interior. In fact, the overall design actually gives an oriental feeling of various countries in the East rather than the feeling of traditional restaurants in Korea. However, photos of Korean scenery and signs with Korean geographical names seem to proudly say that it is a Korean restaurant.
In addition to the interior, the completeness of some menus stood out. In particular, Sotteok Sotteok, one of the snack menus, surprised us brothers because it really resembled the taste of original Sotteok Sotteok of Korea. If you want to eat something unique in an exotic atmosphere after shopping, we strongly recommend you to visit Mogo.

4. Boyang "The rising star of Korean Restaurant"
As a bonus, we would like to introduce one last Korean restaurant in a city close to Ankara. Boyang, located in Eskişehir, is a restaurant we really want to bring to our city. Originally, the word Boyang means “to take care of one’s body” in Korea, which seems to reflect the owner's philosophy about the restaurant and the food they make : Wellbeing foods. As the slogan says, "high-end Korean food," Boyang seems to be aiming to be known as a high-end, luxurious restaurant which we think they successfully achieved it so far. As it has a strategy of high-end Korean food, the overall interior shows the quality comparable to that of the Mogo described above, and the food is carefully designed, making it feel as if you are in a luxurious restaurant. Finally, we found a Korean restaurant that best captures Korea in a city not far away. Why don’t you take rejuvenate yourself at Boyang?
